What is Ramadan? Ramadan is the islamic holy month of fasting that occurs every year and is a time for spiritual reflection, heightened devotion, and worship for Muslims all over the world. For a whole month, Muslims across the world will fast from dawn to sunset, they won’t eat or drink. Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam and is important during Ramadan because they devote themselves to their faith and come closer to Allah (SWT). Before Dawn, Muslims across the World wake up for Suhoor to have a meal and after sunset another meal known as Iftar. But with Covoid-19 and the many lockdowns, they will not be able to attend religious gatherings at there prayer sights known as a Masjid to pray or break fast. So please, let’s keep our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in our prayers during this time and wish them a Happy Ramadan.
