Bob Marley was born February 6, 1945 in Nine Mile, Jamaica. He was a Jamaican singer and songwriter and considered as one of the legends to ever cover reggae music. Marley soon became a symbol for peace and unity in Jamaica when supporting the people’s National party, which led to the failed assassination attempt when a group of gunmen attacked Marley, his wife and the Wailers. He died on May 11,1981 at the age of 36 due to the spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain. He would have been 75 today, but we remember his last words “Money can’t buy life” - Happy Birthday Bob Marley
