Mbongeni Buthelezi born in 1966 Kwazulunatal, South Africa, is a Visual Artist who paints in recycled plastic. He completed his studies at Funda Centre and later went on to graduate with an advanced diploma in fine arts from Witwatersrand. Using recycled materials as a medium reflects Buthelezis awareness of enviromental problems, social issues and poverty. Aiming to bring hope, his work has been displayed locally in South Africa and internationally. ¨I use rubbish to create something beautiful.
